  • Beautiful red and worth walking out the Pierhead to see it up close. Plenty of parking. Worth the walk.  more »

  • You have to walk through the coast guard area to get to it, so don’t be confused when you park and you can’t see a clear path there. It’s really a serene place to visit. It is a beautiful sight!
  • See the White River light station on the hill then walk down to see the newer lighthouses on the channel. The older light station is a small museum and you can walk to the tower for a great view. It comes complete with a ghost story and a century of history. Very cute quaint place. We spent about an hour here and really loved it.
