  • Great State Park! The sites are well spaced for a State Park, the facilities are clean, and the staff has always been helpful. The beach is different every year due to the creek that flows through the park. This year, there isn’t much beach due to high water levels in Lake Michigan. Don’t miss the Gillette Nature Center in the day-use side of the park, especially if you have little ones. There are some nice hiking trails through the dunes there also.
  • Awesome state park on lake Michigan! We had a site in the 200 loop, it was quiet and secluded. The shower and restrooms are really nice. A half mile walk of takes you to the campers beach with a sizeable dune, and the little black creek runs out through the beach into the lake.
