  • This beach is beautiful! The sand is clean and the parking is so close. Walking out to the lighthouse is a nice experience.

  • The sand was well maintained and very clean. The parking was free and so easy... just a few steps from the beach. I really enjoy coming here and then heading to The Deck for a bite to eat. A must visit beach location! *Edit* summer of 2020 the beach implemented park n pay meters, and the meter maids are on top of it!
  • Hot day, warm water, lots of beach goers, typical Pure Michigan day. Watched boats at the channel and then dinner at The Dock. Waited only 20 minutes on Saturday evening, food came in like 5 minutes from ordering. Unbelievable, and it was good. Nice views all around of the beach and lake. I had the pork tacos, a little messy but excellent. My wife had the bowl, which is like the tacos, sans the tortilla (and less messy).
