  • This place has amazing different cheeses from around the world, and you can sample them! Awesome because there's SO MANY and who wants to buy something they don't like?! Definitely buy one of their cheese slicers. If you sample one cheese you'll understand why I say this. They have really great flavored oils, too. Only downside in my opinion is you never really know how much you are going to spend because there's no actual list of the cheeses with their prices. The price varies so much between the different cheeses that it can be shocking when you hit the register. You definitely get what you pay for though, delicious cheese every time.
  • This shoppe is a cheese lover's dream come true. Aside from the variety of cheese available from this vendor, there is a lovely selection of sauces, pastas, cured meats, and crackers to pair with your cheese as well as a range of wines, both international and domestic. The cheese selection is phenomenal considering bovine is not the only choice of cheese milk; there is also goat and sheep cheeses, as well as a variety of wheat free crackers. The olive oil and vinegar selection is wonderful for specialized dishes or even for experimentation in the culinary arts. I have a world traveler friend who is a chef; he has studies abroad and within the US. I told him about this shoppe when he came to visit, and his pretentious chef eyes rolled so hard I heard them clicking in his head... Then I just took him there. He was pleasantly surprised and ended up spending almost $200 on cheeses and oils for his personal kitchen. Ironic, he thought, considering he never spent that much on cheese in one store while in Europe. The great part of this store is one is allowed a sample of the cheese before having a block cut so you know what you are buying. The downside to this store is that the customer service is so awesome that it is not a quick stop, rather a little bit of a wait in line to get to the cheese counter. I don't mind that though, it instills a sense of old world market shopping and further validates that this place rocks. Highly recommend.
