  • I served on an LST during the Vietnam war as a Marine, LST1144, the USS Washtenaw County. Getting to go through one again, realizing how small and cheap they are was an eye opener. As 'something.....  more »
  • A great Museum and memorial to all those who served in WWII. Great recreation of life aboard the 393 which served all over the world, and really great personal stories told of the many that served.  more »
  • Wife and I spent roughly an hour reading and checking out the memorabilia and we still didnt get a chance to see everything due to time constraints! Very nice ship, great lessons from history and a fair price. Not for those who have bad knees/backs, lots of squatting down and ducking for anyone over 5ft 8in.
  • I really enjoyed the whole thing. So much to read up on and see first hand. Very well displayed. Definitely worth every penny.
