Fun things for the children to go on, and adults as well. Glad they didn't build a hotel or shopping center when they took out the old amusement park here. Nice for the locals and visitors. more »
Great accessible playground with fun new equipment. Has several wheelchair accessible items. Areas for big kids and little including swings. Bathroom facilities that are incredibly clean! The wood fibar mulch is low and filter fabric is visible. Could be due to displacement from Hurricane Dorian. Also would benefit from shade trees or structures as it is almost all direct sun.
This was a good break from beach life during our summer vacation to the Outer Banks. Connor (soon to be 8), Emma and Sarah (both 12) had a good time. The bathrooms were brand new and super clean for a city park.
