Step back more than a century at Del Dotto Vineyards & Winery to experience small production winemaking. The original location features a 350-foot wine cave, dug in 1885 by Chinese slave labor. The cave is illumined by candlelight each day. In 2007, the winery expanded to St. Helena Venetian Estate Winery and Caves, a cave crafted with fine Italian marble and detailed Venetian architecture as a nod to the family's Italian roots. Both vineyards produce wines like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. On a barrel-tasting tour, you'll get a guided tour through the caves, where you'll have the chance to sample the wines directly from the barrels.   It was our first wine tour. This is a very beautiful place. The wine tour guide was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Wines are outstanding! The food is home made and delicious! We enjoyed it a lot!
