Stylistically, winemaker Don Laborde strives to create visionary blends that capture the essence of their Napa Valley terroir—wines that are inherently ripe, robust and compelling, but that are also impeccably balanced. To achieve this goal, Paraduxx combines consummate Napa viticulture with a vibrant approach to winemaking. The wines in the Paraduxx portfolio are made in a state-of-the art winery that was unveiled in 2005, and the luxuriously appointed Paraduxx Vineyard House welcomes guests daily for an array of intimate sit-down tasting experiences.Plan my trip to Napa with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.
Paraduxx Winery reviews
First Napa visit since Covid. Seated outside with great precautions in place. Amanda was our server and she had great knowledge and was super warm and friendly. The patio is beautiful with a view... more »
Our next wine tasting was at Paraduxx, Duckhorn's sister vineyard. There, our wine educator was Oscar. Although the tastings were very good, we were disappointed in Oscar's attention to time. After a.... more »
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! My husband and I did the blending experience and it was fantastic. Miguel was our guide and he was awesome. Super knowledgeable, funny, easy to talk to, and passionate. We started with a short tour of the grounds while we enjoyed two different Paraduxx wines. Then we were taken to a large, shaded table out back where we had 4 pours of wine and 3 barrel samples. First we worked with the barrel samples, blending them in different proportions to create differing flavors. It was really interesting! Then we sampled 4 of the Paraduxx blends. Needless to say, Paraduxx is better at blending than we were lol. The grounds were beautiful and every staff member we interacted with seemed genuinely happy to be part of this company. We wound up taking several bottles with us. Can't wait to come back!
I have to echo other's sentiments that the level of service was very bad. We had booked a wine and cheese tasting. We were handed a few measely chunks of cheese, given a 20 second intro to the wine and were left to ourselves. No one talked through the wine or the cheese. Meanwhile the staff was standing chatting amongst themselves inside with nothing to do. This was a really disappointing experience and I do not recommend it.
