Farming Zinfandel is a Biale family tradition that dates back to the early days of Napa. Today, Aldo Biale's vineyard is one of several historic sites from which Robert Biale Vineyards produces some of California's finest Zinfandels. Rarely found in stores, the small production Biale Zinfandels are obtained from the winery and are featured in America's finest restaurants.Make Robert Biale Vineyards part of your personalized Napa itinerary using our Napa online holiday planner.
In addition to Zinfandel, Biale produces a series of blockbuster wines from another of California's great original varieties - Petite Sirah.

Visit this winery! We live somewhat locally and visit wine country at least once a month, and this has instantly become one of our favourites. The vineyard has been owned by the same family of farmers for almost 100 years and is run by its third generation winemaker - and you can tell. The property is beautiful but relaxed, and is a breath of fresh air from some of the more commercially driven properties you’ll find nearby. Our host, Elena, was both extremely knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. We had friends tasting with us who were very new to wine, and she very graciously brought out maps and guided them though everything without once making them feel uncomfortable. Everyone working there popped over to different tables to help their colleagues out, though, and we could tell that no matter who you get you’ll have a fabulous time. It’s a stunning vineyard that evidently strives to make every person feel welcome and valued, while preserving old world varietals and supporting decades long farming partnerships in the valley. If you’re visiting Napa, don’t miss this.

Best winery we visited while in napa. We came for a 10am tasting since it's near our hotel senza and I loved all the wines I had here. Reasonable prices and we bought several wines. In fact they gave us the wine club spot in front because everyone else canceled that morning for whatever reason so we had 1:1 attention from our wine educator and he was awesome. So friendly and gave us so much history about the valley and Biale.
