  • We had a blast on the 1.5 hour ATV tour through gorgeous Brown County! We rented two vehicles (2 adults and 2 kids). They provided clean helmets and eye protection. The guide was wonderful and shared interesting details about the area (but not *too* much sharing, so we had plenty of time to drive). We drove by the paintball area and several zipline platforms (eeek! they looked high up!!). The 1.5 hour tour was just enough (not too long for the kids, but still plenty of fun driving and exploring). We will definitely go again! Next time we might wear masks because some trails can get dusty behind the other drivers (plus - Spring allergies as everything was starting to bloom), but otherwise we'd change nothing! Can't wait to go back!
  • Overall, it's a nice venue, with many hiking and biking trails, and lots of potential. The campsites themselves were nice and spacious with large fire pits and the campground was quiet. And the prices were extremely reasonable. There are signs the place is under renovation and it does show and is needed. The restrooms closest to the campsites were closed and the ones further away were alright, but not great (doors with broken locks). The foot bridge to my campsite also looked a bit sketchy. The fact they don't allow dogs is probably the biggest turnoff to me coming back given we have a new puppy and all state parks (including nearby Brown County State Park) welcome dogs.
