  • Luke, his stable staff and horses make for a great experience. Visited for the third time (in last five years) over fall break and it was perfect. Definitely worth planning ahead during the Sept/Oct months as they get filled up quick and are really busy! 10/10 would do again.
  • Previously, I would have given Schooner Valley 4-5 stars, but that changed on our last visit a few weeks ago. I tried to book a same day ride, but could not do so online; so, I followed directions and tried calling - no answer. I called again - no answer. My husband and I decided we would just stop by at ride time and be able to tag along, we were going to be in Nashville anyway. We were only two additional riders, didn't seem to be a big deal. When we arrived, it was clear that horses were being assigned to the riders, and there was staff saddling up the horses, etc. We were approached, firstly, like we had booked and would get horses; however, when I indicated we actually were hoping to ride without an online booking, his tune changed and the answer was a an immediate NO. There was not even any effort in seeing if we could tag on. We were two paying customers, whom which are quite experienced and really could have taken any horse, but they didn't bother to find that out. I feel we were given poor and lazy customer service. The "gentleman" then stated he could book us for the next day, so we contemplated and said "Ok, can we book for the 11am ride", and guess what, the answer was NO. Seems like the Management there has gone downhill and your facility clearly needs a better same day booking system and to at least make an effort to accommodate a couple extra riders - YOU ARE LOSING PAYING CUSTOMERS. If you are telling people to call to book, then make sure someone is there to answer the phones. Good business is all it is. Be better.
