  • Absolutely beautiful scenery. We did the mansion tour and the grounds access and there was so much to explore. It was really cool to feel you are walking through history and learn about the lives of everyone who lived there. I would recommend about 3 to 4 hours to do everything. We came around 4 and did not have enough time to see everything. I enjoy history and reading everything so it does take me a bit longer to get through everything. If you like just looking at pictures may need a little less time! But definitely give yourself enough time so you do jot have to rush! Would recommend.
  • We had time between arrival and check in so we decided to stop and lock the grounds. We had about an hour wait before I could tour the mansion. There's plenty to do from the museum to the wine tasting to walk in the grounds to make that time go by very quickly. The grounds are gorgeous. All of the varieties of trees are very interesting. Thinking that some of them are hundreds of years old is incredible.
