  • I enjoyed the stay at this park, nice and quiet. But, Campground B is mostly for RV's not so much for tents. Also, the showers could use some updates. But other than that it was a very enjoyable...  more »
  • Loved the peace and quiet of the park. Stayed in site 37... It's on the lake, but the undergrowth hasn't been cleared so there is no view. Close to Natchez for easy day trips. A bit of money invested....  more »

  • The place is easy to get to and it's quite gorgeous. There is a few spots for kids to play and areas for a picnic. I went for disc golf and hiking trails. I didn't get much of either. Disc golf grass was grown and the trail was in questionable condition. I don't think it's due to lack of the park keeping it up. I think it's mainly because most of the traffic for the park doesn't do those 2 attractions that often. Everything else seemed to be clean and we'll kept like the bathrooms and play area. I would recommend this for kayaking, fishing, and camping. I wouldn't recommend for disc golf or trail walking.
  • Love the proximity to Natchez, and the Natchez Trace. I love the whole area and the people are friendly and helpful. On a number of occasions we were approached by locals, who readily identified us as tourists, and would recommend local sites of interest. Will we be back? You bet.
