The Caverns is a great spot to check out after visiting the Natural Bridge. They have scheduled tours so you could call ahead and see when the next one is so you aren’t waiting too long. We waited about 45 minutes. While we waited we checked out ate our packed lunch, they have picnic tables around and we walked up the trail to see the original entrance of the cave. It is uphill and also leads to another trail called Buck Hill Trail. We didn’t have time to do this trail. Tickets were about 20ish dollars per adult. They have bathrooms and a gift shop. But I found some natural crystallized rocks outside while walking around. Our guide was awesome and every there seemed friendly. The caves themselves are very cool (literally, bring a jacket) but also just in general. There are quite a few stairs which can be slippery and you also don’t really notice how many stairs until you’re on the way back climbing them! Great experience all around. I do wish the tour was longer.

Shawn is an awesome tour guide! Stopped in while camping in Natural Bridge this summer. This is a very cool cavern with an interesting history. Very different than Luray but super cool and a great find. After our tour we hiked up to the original opening too! Quick note: Neither the caverns nor the hike are stroller friendly.
