  • I can't believe there aren't more reviews on this place. It is our favorite place to take the boat in NM. The lake is huge and never busy like Elephant Butte. We prefer to camp at the Cottonwood...

  • We loved it. So ruggedly beautiful. What a relaxing spot. The park seems well run with a nice visitor station, plenty of restrooms, and covered picnic tables, etc. There are enjoyable hiking here.

  • Checking out the river for fly fishing
  • Pine Campground was decent. Restrooms and showers were clean. Could use another restrooms for amount of camping spots. Big negative as others have mentioned is how tight and close together camping spots are. Lake is big and has a large marina with stuff
