A quiet community in Northwest Florida, Navarre Beach offers sunshine and warm weather without the crowds. The small community has several dining options, including a Japanese restaurant. An outdoor lover's paradise, the area features great facilities for biking, fishing, golf, and camping. Despite suffering severe damage from several hurricanes, the waterfront has been rebuilt. Try a snorkeling trip if you'd like to see some underwater wonders. If you walk along the boardwalk, you might see dolphins and other wildlife. Although it'd be most unusual to see a Great White shark on the west coast of Florida, the movie "Jaws 2" was filmed here. • Great beach but beware no part of the beach on Navarre allows dogs on the beach even on a leash. Had we been aware of this I would have booked another location. There are dog parks in the area...

  • Great Beach with easy access, and most importantly - bathrooms! Gorgeous spot for watching the sunrise, and at least when we were there, not terribly crowded (granted I was on the beach in February - but still) Mostly ran into the locals - those who go shelling, etc, and they were all super friendly. We were there on a low/no shell day - but according to one local, the day before had been a much better shelling day. Super nice area, you can also rent some of the pavilions if you want for a family gathering, etc. Very nice spot. Will definitely come back to this particular beach on my next visit!
  • The most relaxing beach one could ever be. Not much of a crowd. Best view. I found many shells there. I enjoy it a lot. I went swimming and snorkeling. The evening view of the beach and the sun was so awesome. One could just sit and relax there for a whole day. I want to go there again
