  Loved this hike. It was cold in the shade and there was ice and snow on most of the trail. It’s an easy hike...but long. It seems a lot longer when one is trying not to slip down on ice. I am not....  more »

  This is an awesome place to hike and absorb some area history. There are nice restrooms and picnic areas. There is an old homestead and a mine to explore.  more »

  We love Caribou Ranch! A long (just under 5 miles all the way around) but relatively easy hike, not much elevation change (took us just over 2 hours). There are a couple places with rocks to walk over that could be challenging for some. Over half of it is a dirt road so it's very flat and easy to walk. We decided to go off and explore the Blue Bird Mine today. It was so cool! Very well restored and maintained. And great history! This is definitely a hidden gem of the Rocky Mountains!

  So many wildflowers at the end of July (this has been a very wet year) There is pretty much no vertical climb here. Consider it more of a walk than a hike (if you care to differentiate).
