Super, super informative history museum. I literally spent a few hours here watching the film they have playing in rotation, listening to actual depictions of individuals from James City, and any other interactive gadgets I could find. I read every single word this museum had to offer. I had the absolute best time ever! I was at a place of historical contentment.

We had such a great time at this museum after touring Tryon Palace!! They have an interactive portion where you can “print a newspaper”, help make roast duck and other receipts, steer a ship, make a quilt, and make turpentine.
