My husband and I are Market-foodies and supporters of small local business but wanted to venture out from San Antonio. We visited the New Braunfels Farmers Market one Saturday morning in Feb. The weather was brutal with high winds and low temperatures. We didn't stay long but noticed that the market still had the support of the community. That was a safe and warm feeling to experience considering we were looking to set up a small business in artisian food vending. We now rent a spot at the New Braunfels Famers Market every Saturday from 9am - 1pm. called Taco Temple. Taco Temple offers breakfast, chalupas and flautas. We make our salsas from scratch and use no fillers or preservatives. Thanks to the great community of New Braunfels, we are off to a great start and appreciate all the great reviews and dynamite supporters. Come out and try our product! We promise you'll love it!!

I used to come here all the time when I lived here a few years ago. Something special about this little gathering of folks who are the vendors. Passion is what is evident at each booth and I love that. I bought more things than I intended to, such as some sort of Cashew Cheese that was Shallot and Chives, but it was pretty good. My Daughter liked the Black Pepper version so I bought that one for her. There was just a "homey" feeling here and I loved it. Reminded me of the passion I have for being a Chef and why I took that route. I chose to leave, but every now and then the wind blows with the smallest of things. If you are ever visiting New Braunfels, check this place out. You'll find things created and made with love.
