    Spicer Lake doesn't get much fanfare around here. Matter of fact, I've liver within 20 miles for 30 years and just recently discovered it. I like to hike and have been meaning to get over here for.....  more

    It's been a few years since I have visited here but the natural beauty and serenity has not changed at all. The boardwalk is astetically pleasing as much as it is an opportunity to view wildlife you seldom see in the city. I suggest a family visit while the weather is still nice.

    A wonderful treasure. The Preserve contains three distinct habitats that finger into each other, supporting a wide range of plant and animal life. It's worth repeated visits in each season of the year.
