  • Really quiet, scenic, peaceful and you can swim! As you come in, the right side is great for swimming! When the tide is out, you can go out yards and still not be up to your waist, which means kids can havr fun there! On the left side you'll find all kinds of shells and smooth stones to take home! The photos in this review are of the left side where the fort is :)
  • An unusual place but I really enjoyed visiting here. It has broken down buildings that are partially fenced off and relics of an early 1900's fort. You can go into some of the rooms. Parking was easy and free. My son was able to splash and play along the shore here which made it more fun.
