Squam Lake, New Hampshire

Little Squam Lake is a 408acre water body located in Grafton County in the Lakes Region of central New Hampshire, United States, in the towns of Holderness and Ashland. The lake connects upstream via a short channel to Squam Lake in Holderness. The two lakes are maintained at a common water level by a dam located one mile downstream from the outlet of Little Squam Lake, on the Squam River, a tributary of the Pemigewasset River.

  • Rattlesnake Trail West leads uphill off of Hwy 113 to gorgeous view of Squam Lake. Bring spikes when snow is on.
  • So peacefully off the beaten path, if it wasn't for 9 hours of driving between us I'd be there every month! Love it's crystal waters, the sunny days and the rainy ones, what's not to love?!
