Our charitable activities encompass an almost infinite variety of local, national and international projects. From international charitable partnerships with Special Olympics, the Global Wheelchair Mission and Habitat for Humanity to our own Food for Families and Coats for Kids projects and other local charities, the opportunity to work together with fellow Knights and their families is virtually endless.
The Knights was formed by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners to render financial aid to members and their families. The Order offers Life Insurance to its members and is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity, and fraternity.
Knights of Columbus Museum Reviews
This is an interestingly different museum. We knew nothing about the Knights before going and definitely learned something! Handily located just outside the 9 squares, this is close to Union Station. ... more »
If you are a Knight this is a must stop place if you are in Connecticut. The displays are top notch. The WWI exhibit is very good. more »
Beautiful. Many things to see and learn. Excellent museum. Another beauty of the Catholicism!
What a hidden gem! The exhibits are always so well thought out, high quality and more interesting then you'd think. The gift shop has some neat seasonal choices and many religious items... definitely worth an afternoon, I always find great gifts! The staff are friendly and so helpful, always a nice trip to walk through for an hour or two!
