Harrybrooke Park, New Milford

In 1965, Frank and Elizabeth Harden left the gift of Harrybrooke Park to this community. We do not receive and town or state funding and are a private park overseen by a board of Managers. the park is able to stay open due to the 10,000+ hours of volunteer service and via our multitude of fund raisers. If you use the park, please consider joining the "Friends of Harrybrooke" to help us maintain the beauty and charm. Do only as much or as little as you can. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Mr. Harden’s promise to us all is worth keeping.

We are a 501(c)3 organization.

  • Beautiful and clean park. Perfect for a picnic, walk, strollers etc. Flat and smooth walking path. Lots of shade, and park benches.  more »
  • So peaceful and well kept. A great place for a walk with friends or just by yourself. A marvelous piece of nature!
  • We came in from the Housatonic River. Good fishing down in there if you target carp or pike. Bass bite is good too.
