  • Cajun Encounters has great tour guides. Kimberly picked us up at our hotel downtown and was so fun and informative over to the swamp pavilion to catch our flat boat. Then JD was awesome and told us all types of info on the swamps, history of the area, alligators, homes, trees, you name it! We were a party of 10 and had tons of questions and JD was so fun and informative. He also is a super great guy. He made it a memorable trip, also we saw alligators, some crazy swamp pig, animals and birds. Thanks! Lisa
  • Excellent tour of the swamps. Captain Eddie was great. Even though most of the Gators are already hibernating this time of the year, he was still able to locate a few ones. Great knowledge of the area and history. The highlight of this trip was "Pork Chop" the wild boar. Highly recommended for a couple of hours of fun in the swamps. Will probably try to come back in the summer when the Gators are more active.
