Very attentive when I shopped here for a new hat for my husband. Listened and offered options and found what I was looking for!

A whole store just for hats. Fedoras, pork pie, top hats, and more. A charming shop on St. Charles Street right outside the French Quarter. If you're looking for quality and a hat that will last, this is the place. Expensive... yes. But quality is an investment, and with proper care these hats can last a lifetime. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The offer tips and cleaning advice for the care of your purchase. If you're in New Orleans and serious about your hat game, please visit them.

A genuine hat shop is a rare thing now, so Meyer The Hatter is historic and exceptional. They have a massive selection of hats for men and women, and their staff is highly knowledgeable and patient. They bend over backwards here to give a great experience, and to make sure you get a hat that fits perfect. If needed, they can even stretch a hat professionally in-shop to get a custom fit for you. Whether you’ve never been to a genuine hatter or you’re a hat fanatic, you’re in for a treat! Meyer The Hatter has been around since 1894, so it’s safe to say you’ll never find a more experienced hatter in the United States. If you’re already a hat aficionado and don’t need a new hat (clearly impossible), stop in and grab some extra feathers, they have a great selection of those too.
