  • We went on a 90+ heat advisory day, so only the 3 buildings with AC were open. The costumed volunteers were very informative.

  • I was blown away with how interactive Schoenbrunn Village was. We made it in late October and although it was quiet, there was so much to explore. Nearly all the cabins were open to entering and looking around a as was the school and the church building (which, according to the walking tour guide, is still an active church in the Moravian Church). After walking through the village, we went back into the visitor center and looked through the museum with some incredible artifacts from the village that predate the American Revolution, including two Bibles dated from 1765. The staff there was incredibly nice and the gift shop was well stocked for being so late in the season. Pro tip: if you have an Ohio History Connection Membership, admission is free!
  • Attended a Homeschool event here and experienced what life was like in the 1700's. Very nice historical village and educational setup. We will plan to come back and explore more.
