We stopped after biking all over Block Island and were looking for a quite spot to sit for a bit. This was it. The beach was scenic and not crowded. We didn't walk the trail (tired legs) but it sure looked nice ,was longer than I realized. A destination for another visit.
Peaceful place to hike. We went in a cloudy/misty/foggy morning with little wind. Saw and heard lots of birds (for example, Spotted Towhees, Song Sparrows, Yellow Warblers, Great Egret, Common Yellowthroats, ducks, geese and gulls. The gulls soared along the edge of the bluffs & could easily be seen from the trail.
