  • Groomed trails and lots of birds. Bird-banding is done in this area year round. Off of Corn Neck Road near Sachem Pond.  more »
  • There are a bunch of Greenway Trails on the Block. This one is lovely and you can go to the beach or take the longer trail to the north part of the island.  more »

  • We stopped after biking all over Block Island and were looking for a quite spot to sit for a bit. This was it. The beach was scenic and not crowded. We didn't walk the trail (tired legs) but it sure looked nice ,was longer than I realized. A destination for another visit.
  • Peaceful place to hike. We went in a cloudy/misty/foggy morning with little wind. Saw and heard lots of birds (for example, Spotted Towhees, Song Sparrows, Yellow Warblers, Great Egret, Common Yellowthroats, ducks, geese and gulls. The gulls soared along the edge of the bluffs & could easily be seen from the trail.
