  • Take a hike to the North Lighthouse and say hi to the harbor seals! One of the most beautiful places in New England.  more »
  • You need to walk a decent amount before reaching the lighthouse. Walking in the beach front was excellent. We picked up stones along the shore on our way to the lighthouse and back.  more »
  • Why does South light get all the love? Beautiful little hike. Make sure to check out sister lighthouse in Noank.
  • We visited most of the must see sites on the island and this one was definitely disappointing. Although the walk to the light house was ok, the beach area and rocks were splattered with what seagulls leave behind, if you know what I mean. We made it to the lighthouse and realized that the whole area is basically one large seagull nest, we left as the birds were very protective. I did get a couple of nice pictures in the fog, but our group felt it was not worth the excursion. This is one spot we'd skip next time.
