Beauty Bar, New York City

3.4
The Original Beauty Bar Served it's First cocktail in the spring of 1995 at the former "Thomas Beauty Salon". Paul Devitt found the forty year old salon, and converted it into a one if a kind beauty "saloon".

The ever-eclectic crowd now gathers under the same chrome-domed hair dryers where blue-haired ladies were groomed and gossiped for decades.

  • Very aesthetic place with really nice music. Theres great photo spots too! Good place to just hang out with friends and have a low key night. If you want to party harder, there's plenty of space to stand and dance too. The menu is also quite unique and interesting. My boyfriend had a whiskey based drink that was topped with whipped cream and cinnamon!
  • Great place for happy hour! Decently priced drinks that are delicious; ordered the lychee martini which was amazing. It's a pretty small space and a popular happy hour location so it can get pretty crowded. Don't forget to check in on yelp for 50% off an appetizer!
