If you're a design enthusiast, Cooper Hewitt in New York City is an absolute must-visit destination! This Smithsonian Design Museum, housed in the historic Andrew Carnegie Mansion, boasts a fantastic collection of innovative and thought-provoking exhibits that showcase the best in design, both past and present. As I explored the various galleries, I was captivated by the diverse range of disciplines on display, including graphic design, textiles, industrial design, and more. The interactive exhibits were particularly engaging, inviting visitors to participate and experience design concepts firsthand. The museum staff was friendly, approachable, and well-informed, ready to answer any questions and provide insights into the exhibits. I also appreciated the beautifully landscaped garden surrounding the mansion, which offered a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Cooper Hewitt is the perfect destination for anyone interested in design or simply looking for an inspiring and educational experience in New York City. I highly recommend paying a visit to this exceptional museum – you'll leave with a newfound appreciation for the world of design!

There is a cafe here. You can grab coffee, latte or a snack and have a seat in their lovely picturesque garden. You will feel royal(笑) You can also come here and photo bomb. Great place for pictures with fine scenery you can definitely catch some great snapshots or selfie's here. Tip: the cafe is free to enter you don't need a ticket or anything just walk in through the garden entrance. If you want to observe the museum there is a ticket entry for that, which I did do as well but you can come here and enjoy the cafe and garden free to enter. They make very good coffee here and great snacks. Try it out. You'll want to become a regular.
