  • It is a small museum but it features a vast amount of information on the native Americans and their relations like the Inca and maya peoples.  more »
  • Unexpectedly charming historical museum offers a variety of artifacts and art. Small enough to visit in an hour or two, so a manageable place to add to your itinerary. I especially enjoyed the temporary art exhibit of a native American painter. The museum has a lovely rotunda in the middle with beautiful frescoes on the upper walls.
  • Very cool, excellent detailed exhibits and it’s free! the surrounding area is also bustling and feels safe as well. The water fountain outside is cool too. I learned a lot from this museum and found that reading the descriptions was very rewarding. I didn’t like the art as much as the artifacts though and it was amazing to see how beautiful and intricate the artifacts were.
