NFL Experience Times Square, New York City

4.2
20 Times Square is a large mixed-use 39-story development located at 701 Seventh Avenue on the northeast corner of West 47th Street in Times Square, Manhattan at the top of the Times Square 'bow tie'. The development will include one of Ian Schrager's new Edition Hotels operated by Marriott above a 6-floor 76,000 square feet (7,100 m2) retail component. The building replaces the Cecil B. DeMille building previously home to the famous Unique Recording Studios which closed in 2004.

According to City Planning Department documents, an increase in the size (and FAR) of the 500 foot tall building was made possible by the transfer of air rights from two nearby Broadway locations.

  • I have not been to tokyo or china so cant comment about them but in wetern world this is the maximum neon slgns I have ever seen I think there is a regulation that every building has to have a neon sign. It is great to sit infront of the NYE ball drop building on steps and watch people and street artists..mostly marvel characters or disney...you can spend hours here doing nothing :)...but watch for loads of toursts everywhere
  • Sure it might be a tourist trap but Times Square is definitely worth the visit. You won't see anything else like it and even though the crowds are you wild there's always entertainment. we stopped here one night and it took us about 30 minutes to walk two blocks but I would do it again in a heartbeat. There's just nothing like Times Square at night.
