Queen of the Night, New York City

3.2
Queen of the Night is a dark debutante ball thrown by The Marchesa for her daughter Pamina. It is a fusion of dance, music, fashion, circus, culinary delights, theatre and nightlife that welcomes the audience into a wholly interactive entertainment experience. Drinks will flow, dinner is served, and over the course of the gala, guests will be engaged, entertained and immersed in this genre-blurring initiation.

  • Went with 3 friends from the UK over in NYC on Holiday. Got lucky enough to be recommended to go to queen of the night, easily the best dining experience I have ever had. I don't really want to say ex...  more »
  • We bought the package with dinner over the Internet, we got to the Queen of the Night a little before and we had to wait on the sidewalk. Formed a line of people eager for the night. We go in, we climbed a ladder that looked more like an abandoned building and the Hall opened full of colors and lights fun references. One of the actors called me, I followed him to a room downstairs, he asked me how far I was willing to go and gave me a mission: I should deliver a paper to a stranger and say she loved him. We sat at a table full of crazy Americans, the lobster was served inside a cage, one of the girls asked for salad and ... threw the salad in her face. The dessert was served in a spoon for the dancers ... cool ... on stage. The hint. The show is beautiful and the night was great! I recommend including the salad.

  • Unfortunately I can’t say that I was amazed by this show. I had high expectations from this show, and for 200$ I would expect more. A lot more. There is a limit for how cool you can get, and over-cool is not always the best. Nothing amazing, really nothing that made me stop and feel amazed. It was a good show, with OK food, but the way I see it, to charge 200$ for that is way too much. We got here at 7:45, long line outside. When you get inside it is not exactly clear what is going on, who should seat where and when. The show is nice, but like I said nothing amazing here. The food is served with one kind of meat for each table, and you need to exchange with other tables for their meat. Cool or not, this is up to you. One time was enough.
  • Best show ive ever seen. Amazing.
