  • Do not miss Summer Jazz Series in Harlem I saw my brother Tony Lewis 4 a sweet Quartet @ Calary Baptist church on 44 -55 W 124th st. They cooked a little Chick Corea, Burned Red Clay by Freddie Hubbard and the classic Milestones by Miles Davis a proper tune to end to a wonderful set. So go out support the arts and music and Harlem USA.
  • Amazing experience. Money well spent. Would recommend to anyone looking to learn more about Harlem.
  • My husband and I attended the "Harlem Safe House Jazz Parlor" event featuring the Oliver Lake Group on May 4th. The music was outstanding. The experience was unique and intimate. The entire Harlem Jazz Boxx series is a true treasure for music lovers. Check it out! You'll be glad you did. Many thanks to Craig and the Jazz Boxx team.
  • Great walking tours of Harlem including hosting live jazz concerts. The music program /live weekly jazz concerts are great as well as the annual gospel concerts and Craig Harris's "God's Trombones" in the month of December. Tour guides are very knowledgeable.
  • Sheryl, our guide, has lived in Harlem for many years and has been active in the community all that time. She loves the area, loves sharing its history, and stops for many friends and great stories along the route. My only reservation is that I'm a very active person, and this walking tour didn't walk very far or very fast. Even on a 57° day, I got chilled. So my advice is to dress more warmly than you think you need to. Lunch was at a soul food salad bar, not a full-service restaurant. Sheryl left us after she'd paid for our lunches, which rather surprised us. We were hoping for more stories. Food was okay, but not topnotch.
