  • A piece of art as a functioning building. All I can say is visit. Walk in and marvel at what a train station can actually be. Truly remarkable.  more »
  • It was a stunning view inside and free of charge to roam around and take photos. The architectural design was pretty impressive. Almost everything was symmetrical.  more »

  • Nowadays this place looks more beautiful than never but it's missing the incredible energy of thousands of people walking around the area. Photographing this site with no people is unprecedent. Pandemic times in Manhattan...
  • * Update: I went out of my way to exit at this station determined to find the exit. I followed the Google maps directions, and exited the correct staircase. Became disoriented at the turnstile exit but luckily there was a booth attendant who was nice enough to point me in the right direction! Exited 1.5 blocks from home! E Train: They really bury this subway entrance. I live across the street and used to work on John street and still don’t know how to access this station without getting lost and running in circles first. The signage needs to be much larger and on the outside too
