  • Just a Lovely place to relax and have a picnic. Watching the fish in the pond is relaxing too. Easy to get to and parking plenty.

  • Absolutely beautiful park and one of my favorite places to go to photograph birds. I can generally find mallard ducks, wood ducks, geese, gulls, and pigeons. On rare occasions I've seen great blue heron and egrets. Love this place, it's a great place to go with friends! And if you like to feed the ducks, be sure to bring bird seed as they'll run right over to you. DO NOT feed them bread as bread is terrible for their digestive systems and backs them up.
  • A shabby chic park with a large lake, big beautiful trees, lots of geese and ducks, a cafe-type spot (wasn’t open when we were there), benches with park views, and a well worn path for walking and maybe a little biking, or biking for a little one. It’s comfortable, with several families when we visited, and surrounded by some old school houses. It’s a fine vibe, and like Newburgh itself, it’s got a lot of charm, potential, and history. There was more to explore than we had time to see. Could use a playground and a modest repaving, or maybe some fresh funds for an imaginative reinterpretation, once all the new projects around town get their due. Look forward to returning.
