I enjoyed this experience much more than my visit to Mt. Vernon in Virginia. The house and all of its contents are far better preserved. And the guides and actors are superb. If you want to feel what it was like to live during Washington's time, this is the place to go.

Nice historical park that’s free for visitors who want to learn more about the historic site. There are also benches and a view of the Hudson. Entry is free and dogs are welcome.
