  Mahoosuc is the real deal. The husband and wife team are expert guides, and perfect hosts. From the care they take of their dogs, to their ability to engage and educate every guest on my weekend-long ski-in, mush-out trip. It is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. They are the best, my family (My wife and I, and our boys aged 10 and 12 last winter) loved our trip. If you can afford it, you can not find a better winter adventure.
