Thank you for joining Ranger and his alpacas & chickens in their farm antics.
We are a small family with big hearts, avid nature and animal lovers with this passion; we look forward in raising healthy and happy animals that this little humble family farm can produce. We chose this way of life and are dedicated to our animals and business. We are striving for high quality genetics, fineness & density in our alpaca breeding program. We have chickens that provide delicious eggs for our local customers. Our small herd of alpacas consists of well-known and sought after genetics. We’ve competed and won in national alpaca shows. Besides selling alpacas as livestock, we promote appreciation of fiber artistry, sell alpaca yarn made from our alpacas, as well as high-end attire such as gloves, hats, socks, bags, and fur toys made from alpaca, which you cannot find in the common retail stores. We also sponsor our local 4H clubs, promoting and educating children on not only animal husbandry but responsibility, science, healthy living and respect of the community. We are grateful to have the opportunity to promote the alpaca industry, self sustainability, argitourism and appreciation of the dedicated small business owner. Our farm name - Little Brushwood comes from the Japanese dog breed Shiba Inu (little brushwood dog) which is the smallest of the original Japanese dog breeds. Our two little shiba’s are our farm’s mascots and inspiration. Using the Shiba’s determined temperament and inner strength as our business model, we purchased a starter herd and we are currently building our foundation around this little dog breed’s attitude. “Whatever you do, do it with all your might!”

What a lovely place. The owners are very sweet and knowledgeable. They love their animals and take very good care of them. Love the fact that you can interact with the alpaca. I was able to walk to walk Apricot the alpaca on a leash. They have a mini gift shop inside. What's nice is that you make an appointment to get a tour so that alleviates big crowds. Two thumbs up! I will return.

Took our family here for my daughter's birthday and had the most wonderful time. Beautiful farm and the wonderful hosts. Highly recommend a trip to this farm. Andy and Sue are lovely people and we learned a lot about Alpacas.
