David J. Witchell Spa, Newtown

This was my first experience at David Witchell-- Kelly is absolutely incredible. She gave me exactly what I wanted in color and cut and was such a joy to talk to. The salon is classy and clean. I will definitely be returning. Totally exceeded my expectations.

I love my stylist, but I definitely have had bad experiences here. I had a $400 keratin treatment done by Jack and he did a terrible job as well as offered half of the product they put in my hair (that I was paying $400 for) to another employee to "take home and try on herself." Its no wonder it turned out so bad. My hair was more frizzy than before I went it. My mom contacted David directly and David said he did not want to be involved and to talk to Jack. Jack told me basically i was wrong, did not offer to fix it in any way. $400 may not seem like much to David anymore since he owns half of state street, but to people who are grinding away every day it isn't chump change. I continue to go there for Lilly but will never reccomend this place or go their for any special treatment or event. I'm better off at Studio 35 or Capellis down the road.
