  • Challenging but fun. It can be very dangerous when wet. It's very Scenic and good if you need a couple hours away from Niagara.  more »

  • Fantastic place. The old stone steps that lead to the gorge are in rough shape so be careful. Hiking boots recommended. Amazing views of the water. If you go far enough there’s a huge cave and a bit further puts you under the rainbow bridge. Nature in the rough. Great work out and a pleasurable challenge. Photo ops abound.
  • This area of the park is wonderful. I enjoyed the VERY long staircase from road level down to water level. At the bottom, there are trails reaching in both directions along the water. You could spend a good hour or two here without being bored. The views at the road level are fabulous. It is currently June 2019 and there is some construction blocking the usual scenic drive route from the actual falls to this part of the park. The rerouting is not too bad. Worth the drive!
