This is a great park for relaxing. Right on the river, they have great walking/hiking trails and an 18 hole frisbee golf course. It is setup for pros as most holes turn right and you need to know how to throw to make it go hard right. It is a great wooded course and a lot of fun. Perfect getaway.
The park itself is very nice and well kept. The two young boys working at the welcome center this evening were quite rude. Not a single smile from either of them. Once 8:30 hit we knew we would need to be heading back from disc golf at that time and one of the young boys came over and rudely said we need to need to leave immediately. As we walked to simply pick up our frisbees on the ground a few feet away, he repeated himself again aggressively as if we did not hear him the first time even though we acknowledged we would be leaving immediately, since the park was closing.
