  • The visit was a side trip while running from hurricane Dorian. Easy drive through some nice southern country roads, you can't miss it. Was very interesting and informative, ranger was friendly and helpful. She handed us a map pamphlet and we went on a pleasant hike, about an hour and a half to two hours. Worth a morning or afternoon walk. Gift/souvenir shop and restrooms on site, plenty of parking.
  • Very interesting site of 2 revolutionary war battles. Definitely watch the movie in the visitor center. It is a great introduction to the site.
