  • Great cabins, but when we checked in late the park supervisor was a little aggressive in collecting the money for the park fee. We gave him all the cash we had and said we would come down the office to pay the rest ($3). Instead, he sent someone knocking at our cabin door at 8am to collect their money. Startling and kind of strange. Overall a great experience at the park though.
  • Even though driving hours to avoid road closures we were not disappointed. Planning on coming back when it is cooler to explore more paths that are all over in the park. Staff was very knowledgable and helpful. Sorry we haven't come to explore sooner before the floods in March 2019.
