Monarch Dunes is located along the Central California Coast, just south of San Luis Obispo in Nipomo, CA. Monarch Dunes features both the award-winning championship "Old Course" as well as the newly opened 12-hole Challenge Course, both designed by Damian Pascuzzo & Steve Pate. Both courses were uniquely created to test your skills and tempt your senses. Monarch Dunes is part of The Woodlands, a master-planned resort and Trilogy residential community which is surrounded by windswept dunes, eucalyptus trees, coastal vistas and amber-colored hillsides. Monarch Dunes Golf Club is reminiscent of the true links-style courses found in Scotland and a "must-play" for those who seek a challenging, yet amiable, unspoiled golf adventure. • Great course. Layout is simple but challenging. Fairways were in great shape and the greens very consistent. Maybe 9-10 on stimp meter. Enjoyable day.
  • Love it. My boss took me along with 8 coworkers for my retirement lunch. The waitress was very nice and the food was terrific. The view from the dining room was very nice too.
