  • Only 10 minutes from the old Spanish treasure cave we went on a whim. We had a blast! The tour guides where nice and informative. Since we were 10 minutes late we go to do the first part of the tour....  more »
  • We attended cavern tavern this weekend! Our tour guide was Cory. BTW...if you can request a guide, REQUEST CORY! Every staff we came in contact with was VERY welcoming! We started in the gift shop because we were super early! Reasonably priced! The museum was interesting to me, as I am raising a rock collected (She's 6). THE TOUR...though it was abbreviated because of the beer at the end was very informative!! Cory and his dad jokes kept me laughing!! I can't wait to got back for the extended (regular) tour soon! We ended the tour with samples from a local brewery! The Lemon Ale was AH MAY ZING! But that non-alcoholic root beer gave me life!! Will definitely be spreading the word about Mr. Browning's finding!
  • What to do on a hot and humid summer day? This is the question we had to answer. How about a visit to Bluff Dwellers Cave! I can't say enough positive things about our visit. The temperature in the cave is a refreshing 56 or so degrees (perfect for that hot and humid day). The cave itself has been developed just enough to enable a visitor to get around easily but not so much so that you lose the beauty and feel of the cave experience. The passageways and geological formations are fantastic. Our tour guide, Robert, was great. His passion, knowledge, and humor took the experience to another level. He was able to relate to the oldest and youngest of our group with ease while telling us about the cave's discovery, development, geological features, and history. I've been to many caves in my time, this is one of the best. When its hot and humid but you want to do something fun, visit Bluff Dwellers Cave. You won't be sorry.
