Campbell Falls State Park Reserve is an undeveloped, publicly owned recreation area and nature preserve located in the town of Norfolk, Connecticut. The state park offers hiking, stream fishing, and views of the park's namesake waterfall which cascades nearly 100ft on the Whiting River just north of the Connecticut/Massachusetts state line. Legislation passed in 1923 and 1924 provided for the joint management of the park after the land was donated to the two states by the Whiting Memorial Foundation. A stone monument within the park marks the border between the states. To visit Campbell Falls State Park on your trip to Norfolk, use our Norfolk vacation maker app.

Took a nice hike to the falls from the Campbell Falls State Park parking lot. Easy hike, last part a little bit steep, but all worth it. You can get close to the falls, sit down and relax! more »

Short hike. Mass on one side CT on the other. Historic land mark along the way. Waterfall had great flow and slit into two different directions. more »

The walk to the bottom was fine for me but may be difficult for others. Some man made steps would be nice. There must be a trail group of volunteers or maintenance account for the "State Park" It's a short distance and well worth it. The falls were running pretty good and it made for some beautiful pictures. I can't wait to get home and upload them!

A beautiful hidden gem. There are two access points to the trail here so if you want to head off the trial and get to the fall quickly the best access is from Campbell's falls road.
