Art... the final frontier. Some say that art is a scary and unknown domain. Especially when it comes from independent and young artists. They would have you believe that they get too edgy to interpret what their art is supposed to mean. I would agree. BUT! After walking through this art museum I realized that art is pretty cool. Would I walk through an art gallery on a daily basis? Maybe. This one? Probably not. I liked walking through it, and it was a really good deal for the price associated with it. You cant beat free! If you are in the area and want to check out what the Illinois State University art program has to offer, then make sure you stop by this one of a kind art gallery while you are here. Plus there is a good subway just barely up the road that you can check out as well.
I was here. Watched talented musicians play Viola. The art suggested that 50% of art students chose the wrong degree or were vacant of mind, but 50% was great. Great space, seemed like upstairs was having a moving extravaganza by dragging stuff around during performances, good times
