One of our favorites! We went for an impromptu Sunday stroll. It was perfect sunshine, and a stunning day for a walk by the river. The memorials and Navy displays are wonderful. There is a children’s playground, plenty of picnic tables, and room to roam. It was not crowded at all, plenty of parking, and restrooms on site. Dog friendly and kid friendly. Fun for all.

Riverfront Park is a hidden gem in N. Charleston. It's got a boardwalk along the river, a history of the old Navy base, a beautiful new pedestrian bridge, plenty of space for picnics. I enjoy taking a book and reading beside the river. Remember to take bugspray!! It's a great space for music and food festivals. There are also beautifully restored historical homes that can be rented for events.
